The GMT-Master II Ref. 116719BLRO is a symbol of Rolex’s expertise in professional timepieces. Its 40 mm Oyster case is crafted from 18k white gold, combining elegance with durability. The bidirectional rotatable bezel features the iconic red and blue Cerachrom insert—nicknamed the “Pepsi”—with engraved numerals and graduations coated in platinum for excellent legibility and resistance to fading.

Dial & Hands
The glossy black dial provides a striking contrast to the vibrant bezel. Large Chromalight hour markers and Mercedes-style hands glow with a long-lasting blue luminescence, ensuring readability in all conditions. The additional red 24-hour hand enables the display of a second time zone, while the date window at 3 o’clock is magnified by Rolex’s signature Cyclops lens.

Movement
At its core, the watch is powered by the Rolex Caliber 3186 (later models transitioned to 3285), a self-winding mechanical movement entirely developed and manufactured in-house. It incorporates a Parachrom hairspring for enhanced shock resistance and magnetic stability, offering precision and reliability. The power reserve is approximately 48 hours.

The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment and a Cyclops magnifier over the date. The Oyster caseback is hermetically sealed to guarantee waterproofness.

Water Resistance
